성령은 누구신가? (Who is The Holy Spirit?)

 

그리스도인 치고 성령님을 언급하지 않는 이가 없습니다만,

성령님께서 어떤 분이신지 정확하게 알고 있는 사람은 그리 흔치 않습니다.

예수님에 대한 열정만큼 성령님을 알려는 열정을 갖고 있지 않기 때문입니다.

그러나 예수님께서는 자신 대신 성령님께서 오실 것을 확약하셨습니다.

 

John 요한복음 16:7~8

7 But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away.

Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

8 When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:

 

7 그러하나 내가 너희에게 실상을 말하노니 내가 떠나가는 것이 너희에게 유익이라

내가 떠나가지 아니하면 보혜사가 너희에게로 오시지 아니할 것이요 가면 내가 그를 너희에게로 보내리니   

8 그가 와서 죄에 대하여 의에 대하여 심판에 대하여 세상을 책망하시리라   

 

따라서 우리는 성령님의 시대에 살고 있습니다.

성령님의 시대에 살고 있는 우리에게 성령님에 대한 정확한, 그리고 깊은 이해가 결여되어 있다면

우리의 신앙은 결코 성숙해질 수 없을 것입니다.

 

성령의 시대 - 은혜의 시대

 

John 요한복음 14: 26

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,

will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

 

보혜사 곧 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내실 성령 그가 너희에게

모든 것을 가르치시고 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 생각나게 하시리라   

 

John 요한복음 15: 26

"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father,

the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.

 

내가 아버지께로서 너희에게 보낼 보혜사

곧 아버지께로서 나오시는 진리의 성령이 오실 때에 그가 나를 증거하실 것이요   

 

Acts 사도행전 1: 5, 8

5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,

and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

 

5 요한은 물로 세례를 베풀었으나 너희는 몇 날이 못되어 성령으로 세례를 받으리라 하셨느니라   

8 오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과

온 유대와 사마리아 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라

1. 삼위일체 (성부 성자 성령) 하나님으로서의 성령님

 

1-1. 삼위일체 하나님의 성경적 근거

 

1-1-1. Genesis 창세기 1:1

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라

 

1-1-2. Genesis 창세기 1:2

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep,

and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

땅이 혼돈하고 공허하며 흑암이 깊음 위에 있고

하나님의 신은 수면에 운행하시니라   

 

1-1-3. John 요한복음 1:1~3, 14

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was with God in the beginning.

3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.

We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

 

1 태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라   

2 그가 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨고   

3 만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라  

14 말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매

우리가 그 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라   

 

1-1-4. Genesis 창세기 1:26

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,

and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, 

and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

하나님이 가라사대 우리의 형상을 따라 우리의 모양대로 우리가 사람을 만들고

그로 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 육축과

온 땅과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다스리게 하자 하시고   

 

1-2. 삼위일체 하나님의 특성

 

1-2-1. 하나님은 한분이시지만 세분이시다

마태복음 3: 16~17

16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.

At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.

17 And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

 

16 예수께서 세례를 받으시고 곧 물에서 올라오실새

하늘이 열리고 하나님의 성령이 비둘기같이 내려 자기 위에 임하심을 보시더니   

17 하늘로서 소리가 있어 말씀하시되 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자라 하시니라   

 

1-2-2. 하나님은 세분이시지만 한분이시다.

하나님이 전지전능 하시다는 믿음

 

1-3. 하나님의 삼위일체 되심은 왜 중요합니까?

다신관 - 세상에 있는 모든신 - 820만의 다른 신이 있다

일신관 - 고대 근동, 민족 나라를 다스리는 신

유일신관 - 하나밖에 없는 유일하신 신

2. 성령님에 대한 예수님의 설명 : 왜 성령님을 받아야 하는가?

 

2-1. 성령님의 호칭

 

2-1-1. 보헤사 - 위로자 돕는자 변호사 격려자 - 성령님은 인격적이다 - 친해지면 닮아간다

John 요한복음 14: 16

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth.

내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하시리니   

 

2-1-2. 진리의 영 - 삶을 통해 진리가 나타나야 한다

John 요한복음 14: 17

the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.

But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

 

저는 진리의 영이라 세상은 능히 저를 받지 못하나니 이는 저를 보지도 못하고 알지도 못함이라

너희는 저를 아나니 저는 너희와 함께 거하심이요 또 너희 속에 계시겠음이라   

 

2-2. 성령님의 역할

 

2-2-1. 보헤사 성령님이 가르치시고 생각나게 하시리라

John 요한복음 14: 26

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,

will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

 

보혜사 곧 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내실 성령 그가 너희에게

모든 것을 가르치시고 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 생각나게 하시리라   

 

2-2-2. 죄, 의의 심판에 대하여 세상을 책망하신다

John 요한복음 16: 7~8

2-2-3. 진리로 인도하심 - 장래일을 알려주신다

John 요한복음 16: 13~15

13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.

He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

14 He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.

15 All that belongs to the Father is mine.

That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

 

13 그러하나 진리의 성령이 오시면 그가 너희를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시리니

그가 자의로 말하지 않고 오직 듣는 것을 말하시며 장래 일을 너희에게 알리시리라   

14 그가 내 영광을 나타내리니 내 것을 가지고 너희에게 알리겠음이니라   

15 무릇 아버지께 있는 것은 다 내 것이라 그러므로 내가 말하기를 그가 내 것을 가지고 너희에게 알리리라 하였노라   

 

 

3. 성령님께서 함께 하실때 나타난 구체적인 역사

 

3-1. Judges 사사기 15:14  능력

As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting.

The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power.

The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands.

 

삼손이 레히에 이르매 블레셋 사람이 그에게로 마주 나가며 소리지르는 동시에

여호와의 신의 권능이 삼손에게 임하매

그 팔 위의 줄이 불탄 삼과 같아서 그 결박되었던 손에서 떨어진지라   

 

3-2. 1 Samuel 사무엘 상 16:13  감동 - 마음을 움직이심

So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers,

and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power. Samuel then went to Ramah.

 

사무엘이 기름 뿔을 취하여 그 형제 중에서 그에게 부었더니

이 날 이후로 다윗이 여호와의 신에게 크게 감동되니라 사무엘이 떠나서 라마로 가니라   

 

 2 Chronicles 역대하 36:22~23

22 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah,

the LORD moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and to put it in writing:

 23 "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:
       " 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth

           and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.

           Anyone of his people among you—may the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.' "

 

22 바사 왕 고레스 원년에 여호와께서 예레미야의 입으로 하신 말씀을 응하게 하시려고

바사 왕 고레스의 마음을 감동시키시매 저가 온 나라에 공포도 하고 조서도 내려 가로되   

23 바사 왕 고레스는 말하노니

        " '하늘의 신 여호와께서 세상 만국으로 내게 주셨고 나를 명하여 유다 예루살렘에 전을 건축하라 하셨나니

           너희 중에 무릇 그 백성 된 자는 다 올라갈지어다 너희 하나님 여호와께서 함께하시기를 원하노라 하였더라.' "  

 

3-3. Matthew 마태복음 10:19~20 성령께서 말 할 수 있게 해 주심

19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say,

20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

 

19 너희를 넘겨 줄 때에 어떻게 또는 무엇을 말할까 염려치 말라 그 때에 무슨 말할 것을 주시리니   

20 말하는 이는 너희가 아니라 너희 속에서 말씀하시는 자 곧 너희 아버지의 성령이시니라   

 

Acts 사도행전 4: 13  담대

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men,

they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

 

저희가 베드로와 요한이 기탄없이 말함을 보고 그 본래 학문 없는 범인으로 알았다가

이상히 여기며 또 그 전에 예수와 함께 있던 줄도 알고   

 

3-4. Acts 사도행전 3:6~8

6 Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."

7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong.

8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk.

Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

 

6 베드로가 가로되 은과 금은 내게 없거니와 내게 있는 것으로 네게 주노니 곧 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 걸으라 하고   

7 오른손을 잡아 일으키니 발과 발목이 곧 힘을 얻고   

8 뛰어 서서 걸으며

그들과 함께 성전으로 들어가면서 걷기도 하고 뛰기도 하며 하나님을 찬미하니   

 

3-5. Acts 사도행전 9:31 성령님의 위로는 채움이다. 우리의 구체적인 문제를 해결하시니...

Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace.

It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord.

 

그리하여 온 유대와 갈릴리와 사마리아 교회가 평안하여

든든히 서 가고 주를 경외함과 성령의 위로로 진행하여 수가 더 많아지니라   

 

3-6. Romans 로마서 5:5  사랑

And hope does not disappoint us,

because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

소망이 부끄럽게 아니함은 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부은 바 됨이니   

 

3-7. Romans 로마서 15:13  소망

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,

so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

소망의 하나님이 모든 기쁨과 평강을 믿음 안에서 너희에게 충만케 하사

성령의 능력으로 소망이 넘치게 하시기를 원하노라   

 

3-8. Romans 로마서 15:16  거룩

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God,

so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

 

이 은혜는 곧 나로 이방인을 위하여 그리스도 예수의 일군이 되어 하나님의 복음의 제사장 직무를 하게 하사

이방인을 제물로 드리는 그것이 성령 안에서 거룩하게 되어 받으심직하게 하려 하심이라   

 

3-9. 2 Corinthians 고린도후서 3:17  자유 - 선으로 인도하심을 믿기에 자유롭다

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

주는 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유함이 있느니라   

 

3-10. Galatians 갈라디아서 5:22~23 성령의 열매 - 인격이 바뀌어짐

 

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

22 오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과   

23 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라   

 

 

4. 성령님께서 임하신 성경의 예

 

4-1. Acts 사도행전 2:1~4  한 곳에 모여 기도하는 중에...

1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

 

1 오순절날이 이미 이르매 저희가 다 같이 한 곳에 모였더니   

2 홀연히 하늘로부터 급하고 강한 바람 같은 소리가 있어 저희 앉은 온 집에 가득하며   

3 불의 혀같이 갈라지는 것이 저희에게 보여 각 사람 위에 임하여 있더니   

4 저희가 다 성령의 충만함을 받고 성령이 말하게 하심을 따라 다른 방언으로 말하기를 시작하니라   

 

4-2. Acts 사도행전 2:38~39  예수이름으로 세례, 죄 사함, 성령을 선물로 받음

38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."

 

38 베드로가 가로되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 세례를 받고 죄 사함을 얻으라

그리하면 성령을 선물로 받으리니   

39 이 약속은 너희와 너희 자녀와 모든 먼 데 사람 곧 주 우리 하나님이 얼마든지 부르시는 자들에게 하신 것이라 하고

 

4-3. Acts 사도행전 5:30~32  성령은 순종하는 사람에게 임한다

30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead—whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree.

31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior

that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.

32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him."

 

30 너희가 나무에 달아 죽인 예수를 우리 조상의 하나님이 살리시고   

31 이스라엘로 회개케 하사 죄사함을 얻게 하시려고 그를 오른손으로 높이사 임금과 구주를 삼으셨느니라   

32 우리는 이 일에 증인이요 하나님이 자기를 순종하는 사람들에게 주신 성령도 그러하니라 하더라   

 

4-4. Acts 사도행전 8:17  안수

Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

이에 두 사도가 저희에게 안수하매 성령을 받는지라   

 

4-5. Acts 사도행전 10:44~46  말씀을 들을때 성령이 임한다

44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.

45 The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished

that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.

46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.

 

44 베드로가 이 말 할 때에 성령이 말씀 듣는 모든 사람에게 내려 오시니   

45 베드로와 함께 온 할례 받은 신자들이 이방인들에게도 성령 부어 주심을 인하여 놀라니   

46 이는 방언을 말하며 하나님 높임을 들음이러라   

 

 

5. 당신은 성령님을 받았습니까?

 

1 Corinthians 고린도전서 12: 3

Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed,"

and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

 

그러므로 내가 너희에게 알게 하노니 하나님의 영으로 말하는 자는 누구든지 예수를 저주할 자라 하지 않고

또 성령으로 아니하고는 누구든지 예수를 주시라 할 수 없느니라   

 

 

6. 그렇다면 당신의 삶은 이제부터 어떻게 달라져야 하겠습니까?

 

성령세례는 평생에 한번 받지만,

성령충만은 날마다 받는다.
